Bergerie Sheltered Housing
The sheltered housing facility in Good Shepherd Avenue, Pennywell Road, Limerick comprises 45 independent living units mainly aimed at the older population in the Limerick City and environs.
The apartments are adapted to suit the needs of an older community in terms of access and mobility needs.
The units were completed and first occupied in 1994 and have been providing safe, comfortable, and affordable housing since that time.
Tenants’ rents are often subsidised by Limerick City and County Council (LCCC) under the Rent Assistance Scheme (RAS) or the Housing Assistance Payment (HAP).
We have a rolling year-on-year programme of modifications to our housing units, such as window and door replacements and upgraded heating systems.
The grounds are maintained by a professional gardener. Safety and security is monitored 24/7 by a reputable security company.
